About Ruthie

As an artist, I hope to reflect beauty, goodness, and truth in a pure and honest way. I will create art with integrity and grace, and my hope is that it will nourish the souls of those it reaches.

I began this Art Journey in 2018 as what I believe to be a step of obedience into a calling placed in my heart. Painting, creating makes me come alive and shouldn’t we do more of those kinds of things?! After 3 years of business, I felt led to step away for a time to refocus my time and energy that I wasn't using to paint anymore to refocus on my family, community, and health. Ironically, as those things came into a whole and healthy balance throughout 2021, the Lord brought back into view what my soul was really longing for: creating art.
I hope to use this space to communicate my vision and my intention. I hope you're in it with me, for Beauty and for Glory.
Oh and also this beautiful and wild life I get to do is only because of my wonderful husband, Mason, who has been the biggest support and advocate. And all the paintings you see here are powered by coffee and puppy snuggles—if you’re around here long you’ll meet my best boy Tucker 🤍
